Preparing Artwork For Print?

I'm working on a design, and I was just wondering what special precautions / steps I should be taking when preparing my art.

Are we limited on the number of colors?

Do I need to specifiy Pantone codes?

I couldn't find this information anywhere, so my apologies if I missed something.

There is no limit on colors, and you don't need to specify pantone codes for the colors.

Just be sure to save your 300 dpi design in CMYK mode. It will be easier for us to produce your design if you win the contest.

Other then that, just stick to using the templates and you shouldn't have too much trouble.

Good luck and thanks for the post.
